Abstract

The author studies wall-paintings, dated on XVIII century, of the Remedios Church in Vélez-Málaga. Their iconography remains royal exaltation of Felipe V, first King of Bourbonian Dinasty in Spain, conquering Spanish Succession War, by the Town-Council of Vélez. After those, several paintings about Virgin Mary's lífe were made in the temple.
